Reading Courses

Weatherford College offers 2 levels of developmental reading courses. Placement is determined by assessment scores and educational background.

Courses:

READ-0301, Developmental Reading I is designed to improve reading comprehension and vocabulary. Three class hours and one hour of tutorials per week.

READ-0302, Developmental Reding II is designed to improve critical reading skills including comprehension and vocabulary. Three class hours and one hour of tutorials per week.

Restricitions:

Students who do not achieve passing scores on the reading portion of the assessment will not be allowed to enroll in the following courses until remediation requirements are met:
