Streib Academic Computer Center

The Streib Academic Computer Center is open to all students who need help with assignments of any kind or basic assistance with computer programs. The Streib Center also offers course specific software for accounting, agriculture, biology, English, higher level mathematics, nursing, and Spanish. Learning specialists and trained lab attendants are prepared to assist students with learning needs of all types, particularly those associated with computer use for academic instruction.  Staff members are required to attend tutor training sessions.

Reservations:

Instructors who wish to reserve a class period may click here to view the Streib Center calendar which shows existing reservations and available times.  Library staff members schedule library instruction sessions through the Streib Center calendar as in the past.  Reservations will be confirmed as quickly as possible.

Location:

The Streib Center is located on the lower floor of the Weatherford College Library, just inside the south     entrance. Phyllis Tiffin’s office is located inside the Streib Center.

Student Information:

Students are free to visit the Streib Center at any time during regular hours of operation;  however, when a class is being held for research and/or instruction, the Streib is not available for general student use.
Students are required to sign in and out so that accurate records can be kept.
Students will be asked to respond to a Streib Center Evaluation as often as deemed helpful.
