Who we are

The mission of the Instructional Support Department is to provide students with a variety of opportunities and services intended to assist them toward successful completion of college-level requirements in attaining their educational goals. Through helping students develop needed skills and knowledge, our programs seek to add educational and occupational value to each individual.

Workshops

The Success Connection has over 20 workshops available for individual or group presentations which include tips for COMPASS, TEAS, THEA, time management, study skills, math and more. Links are available on the left for both available workshops and workshop schedules.

The Success Connection is located in LART 1-2 on the lower level of the Liberal Arts Building. The Success Connection provides tutoring for all students at Weatherford College; especially those in TSI required courses. In cooperation with several certificate programs, the Success Connection now provides preparatory materials for those candidates needing to complete the COMPASS assessment or the Nurse Entrance Test. Additionally, the Success Connection has study materials and programs available for anyone preparing for the THEA test and other assessments. Outreach programs, such as in-class presentations, class-specific workshops and campus wide workshops have been instituted to assist faculty and students of Weatherford College.
